The first Unit we are working on is "The Giver" based on Worlview so we are able to compare it to Social Studies as well. Next we will do a short unit on Essay Writing. This will be 2 weeks, and will end with an written essay from students. The second unit we will be working on is Japan. This unit will be done cross curricular with Social Studies, students will choose one of 3 novels and work on various projects or assignments based on Japan. (More to come on Japan)
